ये सब बातें आप जानते ही होंगे जिसके बाद अर्जुन के हाथों कर्ण की मृत्यु हो गई लेकिन क्या आप जानते हैं कि कर्ण के अंत में एक समय कर्ण को श्राप देने वाले उनके गुरु परशुराम उनसे मिलने आए थे।
कर्ण एक सूतपुत्र था और दुर्योधन से दोस्ती के बाद वह अंगदेश का राजा बन गया। कर्ण को सूतपुत्र होने के लिए कई अपमानों का सामना करना पड़ा।
लेकिन एक बार धनुर्विद्या के विराम के बाद, परशुराम आराम कर रहे थे इसलिए कर्ण इस दंश को सहता रहा।
जैसे ही परशुराम को इस बात की जानकारी हुई, उन्होंने कर्ण की सहनशक्ति को देखकर कहा कि कर्ण ब्राह्मण नहीं है।
परशुराम द्वारा दिए गए श्राप के अनुसार कर्ण आवश्यकता के समय अपनी शिक्षा भूलने वाला था और युद्ध के दौरान इस श्राप के प्रभाव के कारण कर्ण अपनी शिक्षा भूल गया जिसके कारण अर्जुन के हाथों उसकी मृत्यु हो गई।
हालांकि, आखिरी समय पर परशुराम ने कर्ण को ऐसा श्राप देने का कारण बताया।
